NSAAP to award two AISES Sequoyah awards at the national conference
The North Star AISES Alliance and Professional Chapter (NSAAP) is proud to sponsor two Sequoyah Fellowship Awards to students or early career professional from the AISES Region 5 (MN, ND, SD, NE, IA, WI, MI-UP, MB, SK). Recipients must be able to attend the 2026 AISES National Conference in Portland, OR, October 15-17, 2026, specifically the Sequoyah Breakfast at 6:30am on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
Students or early career professionals (less than two years professional experience) who have demonstrated service to AISES and their community, leaders on their campus, and/or early career accomplishments are eligible to apply. Please complete the application link below to be considered for an award.

Our Mission
NSAAP, is an affiliate professional chapter of the Advancing Indigenous Science and Engineering Society (formerly American Indian Science and Engineering Society). AISES is a national nonprofit organization focused on substantially increasing the representation of Indigenous peoples in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). NSAAP adds culturally relevant content to STEM.
